During one recent discussion the price of gas was brought up and how much more expensive it is here in Poland than in the States. Now it’s was obvious to me that it was less expensive in America, but the numbers we were coming up with just didn’t exactly feel right. First you convert a gallon to liter, than the divide the price in US Dollars by liters in a gallon, convert that number by the current currency exchange rate of US Dollar to Polish Zloty and there’s your answer. Or you could just type in the entire phrase into Google Search and get the answer back sans a headache and a heated argument over who got the math wrong.

For comparison, right now I’m paying 4.40 zlotys per liter, or $5.60 USD per gallon. The 2.6o zlotys answer is the price of gas in North Hollywood.
