After dropping a small but heavy granite stone on my finger last week it swelled up and took on funny purple colors. It’s slowly getting back to normal, I can almost use the finger to type again, but I did happen to observe something on my MacBook: a swollen finger does not register on the trackpad. Being a resourceful beast that I am, I of course immediately switched to the middle finger, but two finger scrolling, or four finger app switching took some creative thinking 😉
