I absolutely love books and yet I’ve never been one to love to read. Does that make sense?
Most of what I love about books has recently been summarised in a YouTube video by Max Joseph, a filmmaker who hits my view of books right on the head. The video in question is linked below, but the gist of it is that books are really great, full of information, make you smarter, make you read good (I know), have awesomely creative book covers, and are often stored in places you really want to hang out in. So Max goes through the paces of trying to get his “when to read” and “how to read” questions answered all while traveling some really really REALLY nice book stores throughout a few continents. I liked the video and its style enough to watch it a couple of times. Made me actually sit down and read just a little more, too. I highly recommend it.
