My house smells like sh*t. And in the most literal sense possible. One day, when the new seware drain is finally installed on my street and ready to go, there will be no more septic tank in my yard. Until then, I will get to empty the septic tank a couple times a year. A truck came by this morning and within 10 minutes whisked away all my waste. And then out of nowhere, the smell of empty septic tanks came straight through the pipes and into my bathroom. Apparently that’s what always happens when emptying septic tanks. The smell is slowly gone away now, but hot damn, that stinks.
