Some of you may have heard about the 5 years it has taken my city to install a sewage system within our suburb of Złotniki. For the past 5 years it felt like medieval times here, although after seeing Robin Hood this week I’d say they had it better. The crew of 15 or so twenty-two year old guys that between cursing and joking are responsible for laying down the road actually made it to my house this past weekend. Karolina and I were both gone for the weekend so you can only imagine our surprise when we saw our street nearly finished. Just to compare, it went from this:

There is still work to be done, but at least I might be able to park on my own drive way soon. That is, once they pour new cement on my drive way of course.
