Galactico installed their charge station right in front of our GOVECS windows, and we couldn’t be happier to oblige and charge up our privately owned GOVECS scooters every day. It also makes for a pretty cool photo op as we get more and more visitors charging at this station. Last week we had client from the Netherlands driving an Opel Ampera (Chevrolet Volt). Our boss regularly charges his plug in hybrid Volvo V60. And we rotate three to four GOVECS scooters all day long. So Galactico is sure to get their charge station money’s worth.

But for now it appears we’re also serving as great testers. We’ve noticed a few bugs here and there with the charge station and keep in good contact with Galactico on resolving any issues. I have written before about my frustration with Galactico charge stations not working. It seems the company is getting better at servicing its charge points and we’ve met some pretty passionate people from Galactico that would support this claim.

Nonetheless, plugged in devices look super cool, even on a rainy day.
