In 2002 a young Polish artist and animator Tomasz Bagiński was thrown into the spot light when his short animation “The Cathedral” was nominated for an Oscar. Bagiński created an eight minute animation featuring the history of Poland for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo where Poland showed it at its booth promoting our beloved country. I invite you to spend the next few minutes to see how modern day Poland was formed.
