This giant Christmas tree stands 22 meters tall (72 feet) in Wrocław’s city square. I thought I’d post this before Christmas which isn’t all that far away. While made of plastic, it’s very well decorated and creates a beautiful contrast in colors. We happened to witness a decorating crew a few days ahead of the official unveiling a couple of weeks ago. There was also a huge stage setup where some pretty big names  in Polish music such as Kombi played, but with mulled wine and a Christmas Fair nearby we somehow missed all of the performances, not that I would want to stand in one place in freezing temperatures anyway.
