Who reading this post remembers the 155th episode of Seinfeld where Elaine has the million dollar idea to sell only the muffin tops? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Well, as it turns out the muffin top idea was a bust after all, but Katarzyna Ogonowska and her fiance opened up the first muffin shop in Wrocław offering delicious treats to those wanting a tasty muffin. Whole muffins of course, with some very creative decorations to boot.

Called Muffinarnia, that loosely translates into a ‘muffin making shop’ all in one word, Sunday marked their second day in operation and we stopped by to see what they had to offer. A very brightly colored shop had all the makings of a candy shop, a sofa to relax on, and a small store atmosphere that’s hard to come by in a big chain oriented world. The offerings of course consist of nothing but muffins, light or dark, with different toppings. Great service, delicious muffins, and a hot cup of coffee. Top of the muffin to you!
