We visited our friends in Mysłowice over the weekend, a town in the Silesian, coal mining, region of Poland about 130 miles south-east of Wrocław.
Once there, we were greeted by a typical Silesian dinner with hand made Silesian dumplings, cooked rouladen with gravy, and boiled red cabbage. The process of making dumplings was pretty convoluted and centuries old traditions are kept to ensure just the right dumpling. It was delicious!
